Dear Blog, I have a confession to make. My last post was in January. Its been close to six months since I posted anything here. I am truly sorry for neglecting you for so long. I have a decease. I procrastinate. But I'm getting help. I will start moving again and i promise to post more frequently. I hope its not too late and that you will forgive me.
From the bottom of my heart, your blogger.

What's your excuse?
Everyday there is a battle going on in your mind. The two sides fighting over you. One side pushes you. And the other holds you back. Most of the time, if not always, the pull is stronger than the push. I'm talking about our willpower to get our asses moving and getting the exercises we need. I say 'our' because I am also guilty on that account.
We always complain about how out-of-shape we are and envy those who look like they've been running 5 rounds at the park every morning and lifting weights in the evening. We tell ourselves the donut that's about to go into our mouth is the most sinful thing ever and it can kill us. But guess what? Those people you envy, actually did run 5 rounds every morning and lifts wights in the evening. And the donut went down our stomach like lightning no matter what we say. Heck, we can even talk while that donut is going down our throat.
We know theoretically that to be fit we need to exercise and eat well. We know that cardio workouts build our stamina and that weightlifting builds our muscles. We know that eating uncontrollably makes our weight..well..uncontrolled. You eat the greasiest food, you gained the greasiest fat inside your skin. We get fat basically. We know all these. We know how to get healthy and fit.
We mentally push ourselves to eat right and workout. But that's how far the push goes, just mentally. Cause there's that other side of us, pulling us back down. We make up a gazillion excuses not to. Like I said, the pull is stronger than the push. Since the pull is always stronger, then we have to change it the other way around. Instead of pushing ourselves to workout, we should pull ourselves up to workout instead. If you think that doing it alone is hard, then get friends to help pull each other up. I did exactly that, and it worked.
I found this video and thought I should share to motivate you. Im not saying that you must do crossfit, just exercise in general. I've used most of the excuses before. But now, I know, the only excuse i make is why I should workout.
So what's your excuse?

X45
I've mentioned X45 in my first ever post but what really is this X45? Well, its a brand name for a workout program created for one of the local (and dare I say, biggest) local gym here in KK - Core Fitness.
The 'X' in X45, is short for Express And 45 is the minutes it takes to do the whole workout. The workout may ONLY be three quarter of an hour but that 45 minutes is so intense that it could possibly be the worst 45mins of your day. However, the moment that 45 minutes are over, it is the most refreshing and exhilarating moments of your day.

Why it is so intense compared to other workouts offered, is that it incorporates

Bukit Padang
Ask anyone who lives in and around KK, and they will tell you two things related to this 'bukit'. Jogging, and mental hospital. But of course im not going to talk about the mental hospital located at Bukit Padang.
As i said, jogging is the other thing related to this place we call Bukit Padang. Unfortunately, to me jogging sucks! I hate running. But one other thing you can do there

Bienvenue
Yay! The first post on this blog. Welcome. Selamat datang. Bienvenue!
So I've finally started a fitness blog, now i can strike that off my bucket list. Took me this long to start one because I didn't really know what to share on the topic of fitness, until I started joining a fitness program at my local gym - X45 yo! (I'll explain X45 in my future blogs - so stay tuned)
Now, I'm NOT a fitness trainer or an athlete. And I'm also not in the best of shape. So why start a FIT-ness blog anyway? This blog serves as an outlet for me to share my journey, my thoughts and things i learn along the way, in the topic of fitness and health of course. (If i wanted to share everything under the sun, I have another personal blog - which lacked my TLC for some time now.)
Like I said, I'm not a fitness expert but since starting the X45 program, underneath the pain and torture, I saw changes in my body. Physically and mentally. (Yay!) My gym buddies and I start talking about our changes every single day. I've gained new friends who are REAL fitness trainers. Other than grind us to the core everyday at the gym, they also share their tips and knowledge on training programs, techniques & healthy eating. Then I started to get a lil' bit obsessed on health and fitness.
Google search & Youtube became my best-est guru. So many infos I wanted to keep. Endless. So then this blog came to life. A fitness 'directory' for me, so to speak. (Hence the blog name) Instead of just bookmarking the link, I might as well share it, give my thoughts on it, and hopefully learn new things from others.
I also hope this blog can inspire and help others in their quest for a fitter self. So its not just fitness for me, its fitness for you too. (Seh! Hmmm..a tagline i can use)
Signing off (for now)
